The Custom Prosthetic Leg project focused on designing a prosthetic that emulates the functionality of a human limb, optimizing for both high performance and comfort. This project targeted individuals in need of prosthetic solutions, aiming to enhance their mobility and quality of life.

Creation Process:

Utilizing SolidWorks, the project team meticulously designed the prosthetic with precision engineering. The design underwent rigorous stress and impact testing to ensure the durability and safety of the prosthetic under various conditions, simulating real-life usage as closely as possible.

Results:

The prosthetic leg achieved a motion accuracy rate of 96% compared to natural limb movements and could support up to 350 lbs, demonstrating robustness and reliability. Users also rated the comfort of the prosthetic highly, affirming its suitability for daily wear and functionality.
